Key initiatives include early entry into electric mobility (e-scooters and e-rickshaws under E-World of Avon), expansion into renewable energy, and the launch of Avon Fitness Machines. The establishment of Avon New age Cycles Private Limited, focused on mid-premium and high-end bicycle frames, underscores its commitment to modern manufacturing and export readiness. Equally notable is his emphasis on social responsibility, with Avon Cycles operating two charitable hospitals in Ludhiana, providing free healthcare to economically weaker sections. Role in AICMA & Global Engagement Mr. Pahwa previously served as President of AICMA (2014–2015) and Vice President (2024–26) before assuming the presidency again for 2026–28. Under his leadership, AICMA has strengthened its role as the unified national voice of the Indian bicycle industry, engaging actively with the government on policy, standardisation, and sustainable mobility.
